Larry Raycraft established Canadian Electroplating Enterprises Limited in 1978 to service the heavy equipment hydraulic industry. In 1981 the company moved to its present location at 85 Stafford Drive in Brampton, Ontario. Neil Raycraft purchased the company from his father in 1994 changing the name to Ceel Limited. For the past thirty years CEEL has provided hard chrome and sulfamate nickel plating services from its 18,000 square foot facility to aerospace, military and general industrial customers. CEEL is Nadcap accredited and approved by Boeing, Goodrich and Messier-Dowty. In February 2006 Southwest United Industries, Inc. of Tulsa, Oklahoma USA purchased CEEL Limited from Neil Raycraft. Since the purchase by Southwest United Industries, CEEL has expanded its plating capacity and has installed state of the art HVOF thermal spray capability.

The purchase of Ceel Limited represents Southwest United Industries, Inc.’s initial entry into the Canadian market although it has serviced several important customers from the Tulsa, Oklahoma facility for many years. Southwest United Industries has been a leader in the North American aerospace and industrial metal processing industry for over fifty years and has many established business relationships in the Canadian market. Southwest’s top priority is to support the Canadian aerospace and industrial community as a reliable source for metal processing including chrome plating, sulfamate nickel plating, HVOF thermal spray and grinding.
